Supplied in both A cone and Y cone form, textured polyester sewing threads are typically used in serging and cover seaming. These yarns are characterized by higher tenacity and breaking-strength compared to regular textured polyester, as well as other properties that makes them suitable for serging and cover seaming.

Our sewing threads go beyond just meeting tensile strength specifications. Scrupulous process optimisation and heat resistance ensures smooth runnability on sergers and coverstitches.
Beyond this, the yarn is textured in a way to enhance stitch cover and seam softness and dyed to stringent wash-fastness standards for troublefree downstream processing.

Summary of the main features of full-dull polyester yarns
Heat resistance
Textured polyester sewing threads are heat-resistant. This keeps breakages due to contact with heated machine parts to a minimum.
High breaking-strength
Textured polyester sewing thread is characterized by high breaking strength and tenacity values
Stitch-cover and softness
The textured filaments provide stitch cover and makes the seams comfortable next to the skin
OEKO-Tex Class 1
Our sewing threads are certified by OEKO-Tex under class 1, the most stringent set of standards within the system.
Used for serging. A serger makes an overlocking stitch on the edge of a fabric, trimming any loose fibers while protecting the edge from fraying
Used in cover seaming. Cover seaming machines are used to create hems on garments, like on T-shirt sleeves
